At only 11 km you can find La Foret Blanche (185km piste). In front of the chalet there is a free shuttle that leaves frequently (in high season every 15 minutes) to Risoul 1850. For the timetable see the website of risoul.com.
La Foret Blanche is located in one of the sunniest areas of Europe and at the same time has a lot of snow. The tracks of Risoul and Vars were connected in 1990, creating 'La Foret Blanche' an immense skiresort. Eighty five percent of these slopes are above 2000m giving them an amazing view over the South alpes.
Whether your a beginner or an experienced freerider La Foret Blanche has someting to offer for everybody. There are 21 green, 45 blue, 40 red, 10 black piste, 7 snow parks, a slalom course, a free beginner's area, natural toboggan runs and 2 boardercross. For the experienced freerider, La Foret Blanche is international renown for its impressive freeride terrain.
